Mauly Tanzania Safari Tours stay with you for life. We take you on a journey deep into the heart of Tanzania, where you can experience the culture and local hospitality, and catch a glimpse of some of the most majestic animals on our planet.
This four-day Wildlife Safari package offers you a rich introduction to the safari experience. You will explore three of Tanzania’s most iconic parks, each one offering you something new:
The three parks each beat to their own distinct rhythms, and you’ll be in awe of your surroundings as you travel in a luxury private 4×4 vehicle alongside your expert local guide.
Every day on safari brings with it a new story to tell. You will gaze in wonder at the elephants in the baobab forests of Tarangire, and watch as flamingos scatter across Lake Manyara.
Mauly luxury Tanzania safari tours help you feel connected to the land, staying in thoughtfully selected lodges or camps where you drift off to sleep each day to the sounds of the wild just outside your window.
The sweeping river valleys of Tarangire are home to giant baobab trees and one of the largest concentrations of elephants in East Africa. The Tarangire River is a magnet for wildlife during the dry season, and you will be able to see:
The landscape is rugged and beautiful, but you can expect fewer crowds than in the other major parks, with space for you to appreciate every encounter.
Your guide will help you track wildlife along the riverbanks and across open plains. You might even spot leopards resting in the trees or ostriches striding through the grasslands. Tarangire is also a haven for birdwatchers with over 500 recorded species.
Each day ends with a return to your lodge or tented camp. You will enjoy a warm meal and gaze up at the stars above the bush. We think this is the perfect introduction to what makes Tanzania so wild, so welcoming, and so special.
Lake Manyara National Park is a jewel tucked between the Rift Valley cliffs and the lake itself. We include Lake Manyara in our private Tanzania safari tours for its peaceful scenery and the chance to spot some of the rarer animal sightings, like tree-climbing lions!
You will spend the day here, exploring groundwater forests and hot springs before moving on to the vast plains and floodplains brimming over with birdlife.
You will have the chance to see:
Become a true adventurer and walk the suspended bridges that make up the canopy tree walk. Your bravery will be rewarded with a bird’s-eye view of the forest and the chance to take some really special photographs.
There are far fewer vehicles on the tracks here than at other parks, so you can enjoy the stillness and the beauty of this wondrous ecosystem in peace.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. We don’t think that any safari in Tanzania is complete without a visit here. The natural enclosure of the crater has helped create a thriving, self-contained ecosystem that’s home to an astonishing range of wildlife.
The early morning views of mists clinging to the rim of the crater as you begin your descent will take your breath away. Ngorongoro is often described as a surreal experience – in a good way, of course. Travellers on our Tanzania Safari Tours are frequently moved by the beauty of the landscape surrounding them. The floor opens up in front of you as you drive down to reveal grasslands with acacia forests and lakes.
Ngorongoro is also one of the best places in Tanzania to see the Big Five:
Hippos wallow and mingle with flamingos in the smaller lakes dotted around, with herds of zebra and wildebeest often being spotted, too.
Mauly luxury Tanzania safari tours give you the chance to experience a crater game drive with a picnic on the crater rim. Without a doubt, Ngorongoro is one of the most beautiful and life-changing locations in all of Tanzania.
Every one of our private Tanzania safari tours has been planned to showcase the very best of Tanzania. Each package we offer includes all of the essentials, but you have the option to customise your itinerary with additional experiences to make the trip even more special.

There isn’t really a bad time of year to visit Tanzania. Still, what you would most like to see will dictate the best times of year to visit for you:
The dry season is from June to September. This is usually considered to be the best time for Tanzania safari tours because animals are more often seen gathering around water sources for a drink.
During this time, you are most likely to see:
January to March offers a slightly quieter experience. This time of year is calving season for wildebeest in the southern Serengeti, so you will be able to see some younger animals. You might even be treated to a dramatic show of predator vs prey.
April and May are wetter months, which means smaller crowds and lower rates. Some of the tracks may be a little harder to access at this time of year as they will be muddier.
The Mauly Tours team is happy to help you choose the best time of year to visit. Just let us know what you most want to experience, and we will do our best to make it happen.
