Arrive at the airport and receive a private transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Settle in and receive a briefing about the upcoming trek.
After breakfast, drive 1–2 hours to Momella Gate through the scenic Arusha National Park. Complete registration and begin your trek, escorted by an armed ranger for wildlife safety. Ascend through montane forests, spotting baboons, monkeys, and bird species, before reaching Miriakamba Hut.

Hiking Time: 4–5 hours
Habitat: Montane forest with baboons, hornbills, and forest birds
Trek through forest and moorland, gradually leaving tree cover behind. Enjoy views of the Meru Crater and take an optional acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,810m) upon reaching Saddle Hut.

Hiking Time: 4–5 hours
Habitat: Moorland with buffalo and everlasting flowers
Begin your summit push at midnight, trekking over rocky gravel to Socialist Peak (4,562m). After sunrise summit celebrations, descend back through Saddle and Miriakamba Huts to Momella Gate. Complete park formalities, collect your summit certificate, and transfer to your hotel in Moshi.

Hiking Time: 14–15 hours
Habitat: Alpine desert, volcanic rock, and forest zones
The best time for this trek is during the dry seasons from June to October and January to February. These periods offer clear skies and better trekking conditions.
Participants should generally be 12 years and above, with good physical fitness. Younger participants may join with prior approval and proper preparation.
