Today breakfast will be served at your accommodation before you head out for a morning game drive. Get ready to explore the Rufiji River, where fascinating water-based wildlife gathers daily. This beautiful river is best experienced by boat – So why not book in boat safari for today?
A boat safari will take you along the rapids, immersing you in the rich natural surroundings of the park. The river attracts everything, including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife of all kinds.
Your day will be broken up by a feast in the park followed by more wildlife viewing. Dinner will be served at your accommodation.
Your final day of safari begins at dawn, and it’s time for another day filled with game viewing.
An alternative to the game drive is to experience this vast wilderness on foot on a walking safari. The walking safari is a popular activity at Selous Game Reserve and will give you a chance to connect more closely with nature. Walk alongside giraffe for a day!
Lunch will be served in the park, overlooking a spectacular view! After lunch, you will press on to find anything you haven’t yet laid your eyes on! As your last day on Safari, it’s time to see those last few elephants!
You’ll return to camp before nightfall to prepare for the journey ahead and to revel in your week’s discoveries.
After breakfast, your guide will take you to the airport where you will fly to Dar es Salaam or Arusha to continue on your travels.
