Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha

Pick up at the airport arrival into Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet and greet by our representative. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha..

Meals: Dinner

Day 2-3: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will be picked up early in the morning at 07.30am from your hotel and after a short briefing, you will head to Tarangire National Park. This journey will take about 2.5 hours and while on your way you will have to take in the beautiful landscape.

After check in at park gate we will start our game drive, which will continue until late in the afternoon and includes a picnic lunch in the park.

This vast park gets its name from the Tarangire River that winds its way through the parklands, attracting many diverse animals to its waters, giving you a chance to spot elephants, giraffe, lions, antelopes, and zebra.

After today's game drive you will head to Karatu (2 hour drive) and rest at the lodge.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will leave Tarangire National Park and head to Lake Manyara. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive, and eat lunch surrounded by nature once more.

This park bursts with an array of amazing animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, unique tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of colourful flamingos.

After today's game drive you will be driven to your lodge in Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Full Day

Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave the lodge and descend into the Ngorongoro crater.

The high rim creates a breathtaking environment and a dense population of migratory animals. It is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas in the world, with some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino found here.

Your day chasing the migration comes to an end with dinner and a night at a lodge along the crater rim.

Day 6: Central Serengeti National Park

Excitement will hang in the air today as you drive towards the most celebrated national park in the world…The Serengeti!

Today we explore the central park area, in the afternoon known as the Seronera area. This part of the park provides a rich habitat for wildlife, with the Seronera River winding through the land.

After your first day in the Serengeti, you will have dinner and spend the night in the Seronera area.

Day 7-8: Northern Serengeti (Mara River Crossings)

Today we explore another area of the incredibly diverse Serengeti.

After breakfast, we will drive towards the northern area of the Serengeti National Park, also known as the Wagakuria. As we head north, you will have ample opportunity to spot giraffe, herds of buffalo and elephants as well as other migratory animals.

We will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive in the area.

A long stretch of the Mara River rushes through this area, creating the migrating herd with its most difficult obstacle. Watching the wildebeest cross the Mara River is an absolutely epic event to witness!

Day 9: End of Safari

We have journeyed a long way since our start in Arusha.

Today, after breakfast, we will drive to Kogatende Airstrip, you will bid farewell to your safari guide and hop for a quick flight back to Arusha. You will arrive in Arusha airstrip and we will transfer you to a restaurant for lunch before you head out to the Kilimanjaro airport for your international flight.
