This four day safari brings you up close and personal with myriad wildlife. From feathered friends to furry predators, you will see them all.
Your first days will be spent surrounded by elephants. Your third day will be spent in the centre of a massive crater, where you have the chance to spot all of the Big Five. Then, you’ll be whisked away to a serene lake within an astounding rift valley.
This itinerary is also best for an extension after a long Kilimanjaro trek. Take these four days to relax and rejuvenate. It is perfect for your budget and safari experience.
At 8:00am you will be picked up your hotel located in Moshi or Arusha by your safari guide and driver. On entering the park, you will meet with the beautiful Tanzanian wildlife within minutes. The next few hours will be spent game driving through the park, most likely in awe of the majestic Elephants and playful zebras.
Lunch will be provided for you by your guide and enjoyed within the grounds of the park. Later on you will hit the dirt path once more in search of more game viewing.
When you have had your fill of your first day of game driving, you will head to your accommodation. You will spend the night near the park, in preparation for another drive around Tarangire in the morning. Watch the sunset from your camp or lodge and enjoy some rest before your next day of game driving.
You will have an early start on your second day to catch the wildlife while they are active. Who knows what you might spot as the day is dawning. So, after breakfast, you will spend a few hours roaming Tarangire once more.
Lunch will be served in Tarangire National Park before leaving the gates of the park and heading to Ngorongoro at Karatu.
Today you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will descend 600m into the crater for more spectacular game viewing. The crater will take your breath away with its beauty.
Lunch will be served at a beautifully scenic lakeshore where you can watch Hippo’s play while you eat your sandwiches.
The crater is known for its high concentration of exciting animals, in no time you will be witnessing more spectacular sites as your driver hunts down anything you didn’t see before lunch.
Your final night in the wilds of Tanzania will be spent on the outskirts of the crater. Before sunset, you will be taken to your accommodation near the crater rim for a warm meal and some relaxation.
After a hearty breakfast in the beautiful wilderness of the Karatu region, your guide will take you to the soda lake to watch the day unfold in the park. Here you will enjoy a morning game drive, and eat lunch surrounded by nature once more.
This park bursts with an array of amazing animals, including one of Africa’s famous unique tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of colourful flamingos.
After today's game drive you will be driven back to Arusha or drive to the airport.
