Found along Lake Tanganyika, in Gombe, you will find cascading waterfalls and sweeping views from up high.

Gombe National Park Highlights

Chimpanzees, Colobus, Red-Tailed & Blue Monkeys

The chimps and monkeys in this area come to Gombe in search of food. The majority of the animal population within the park are primates. You can easily watch these cheeky creatures for hours.

Lake Tanganyika

The longest and deepest lake in Africa, Lake Tanganyika is a beautiful place to while away the hours, watching the sunset over crystal clear waters.

Kakombe & Mkenke Waterfalls

There’s no better place to feel connected with nature than at the foot of a roaring waterfall.

Species

Animals you will spot on a safari here include chimpanzees, beachcomber olive baboons, red colobus, red-tailed, blue and vervet monkeys, snake, hippopotami, and leopards. In addition, there are over 200 species of bird to be found here.
