Tarangire Sopa Lodge is one of the most well known lodges in Tarangire. The architecture and artwork in the structures is beautiful and unique.
The lodge, which is set amongst kopjes and ancient baobab trees, is built on several different levels. The huge lobby features a high roof and marble floors giving it an airy feel. Up a level is the lounge and bar area which opens up to a terrace with stunning views.
The dining room includes an intricately painted mural painted onto a high gable at one end of the room. The dining room has a large outdoor patio where dinner is served every other night.
This lodge is a perfect blend of comfort, luxury and the traditional safari experience.
