Only 35 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Arusha Town, the lodge is tucked away behind an old coffee plantation – far away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
The lodge is characterised by lush gardens and natural bushland. It borders the Arumeru River and is lined with large majestic trees.
Arumeru River Lodge is decorated in the traditional eco-friendly materials and colours. The lodge includes a comfortable lounge, stocked bar, reception, a boutique and souvenir shop as well as a restaurant that boasts of highly qualified chefs. The chefs provide African and international dishes à la carte as well as buffet style. Fresh made bread, cakes and pastries are also available daily.
All rooms are on the ground floor and most offer stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and/or Mt. Meru.
